About the Role

PetFlow is seeking an Analyst to join our Operations department and report to the Director of Operations.  The Ops team is responsible for all facets of product information, procurement, storage, and fulfillment for our 10K+ product offering.  This unique opportunity will provide invaluable exposure to the operational components that enable an eCommerce company to run efficiently at scale.  The Business Operations Analyst is expected to help the team manage and complete a mix of daily core functions, routine analysis work and ad-hoc ops projects:

  • Analyze various aspects of the supply chain / distribution model to drive efficiency
  • Data modeling to diligence and plan for areas of operational expansion
  • Create purchase orders to ensure optimal stock levels at our multiple distribution centers
  • Set up new / update existing products after collecting the required content from brands and suppliers

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have all of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business concentration -OR- Experience in an analytical, startup, or finance role.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize efforts across parallel project timelines.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort dealing with large datasets.
  • Outstanding attitude and ability to communicate clearly and concisely to internal and external partners.
  • Analytical mind capable of harnessing data to solve problems in creative ways.
  • Desire to make an impact from Day 1 and advance quickly.
